After hanging up, lift the receiver and dial *66 (1-1-6-6 on a rotary phone).
If the called party is not busy, listen for a normal ring. If the called party is busy, you will receive a message to hang up.
Repeat dial will continue to try the number for 30 minutes.
If a connection is made, your phone will signal you with a special ring.
